CHAFFEE - Alice Lucille Sanders, 82, a resident at the Chaffee Nursing Center, died Feb. 25, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Jan. 21, 1925, in Parma, daughter of the late Charles H. and Ruth Ann Ross Nordin, she was a member of the Assembly of God Church and also attended the House of Prayer in Chaffee. She had worked as an inspector for Florsheim Shoe Co. and was a CNA at the Chaffee General Hospital.
On Dec. 8, 1940, in Parma, she married John Franklin Sanders, who survives of Chaffee.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Dorothy Sanders of Scopus and Richard and Judy Sanders of Oak Ridge; four daughters and sons-in-law, Margie and Leon Stricklin and Peggy and Terry Lee of Chaffee, Fay and Johny Lee of Advance and Kay and Mike Scheper of Scott City; one brother, Jack Nordin of Chaffee; two sisters, Betty Bailey of Chaffee and Charlene Lacy of Palms, Calif.; and 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, a great-
granddaughter, a great-grandson and two brothers.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, until time of services at 11 a.m. The Rev. William Marshall will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
