Senator Jason Crowell, R-Cape Girardeau, Rep. Terry Swinger and Rep. Steve Hodges recently presented the 2007 Missouri Primary Care Association Immunization Award to four of SEMO Health Network's clinics. The award is given to federally qualified health centers that achieve immunization rates of 90 percent or above. The Sikeston and Portageville clinics received 100 percent, the New Madrid clinic received 94 percent and the Bernie clinic received 90 percent immunization rate, which is higher than the state's average of 83.3 percent.
