CAPE GIRARDEAU - Glen Hupp, 72, died March 27, 2006, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Oct. 28, 1933, in Essex, son of the late Louis Alonzo and Elizabeth Smith Hupp, he was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Korean War. An avid bowler, golfer and fisherman, he retired Aug. 18, 1988, after 31 years of service for Procter and Gamble in California.
On Dec. 12, 1981, in Las Vegas, he married Dee Loya Hupp, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four sons and one daughter-in-law, Kirk Hupp, Kevin Hupp and Kent Hupp of Long Beach, Calif., and Bill and Theresa Hodges of Cape Girardeau; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Yvonne Hupp of Mammoth Lakes, Calif., Debbie and Patrick O'Sullivan of Castic, Calif., Cathy and Dar Peneh of Newport Beach, Calif., and Carrie and Jeff Lemon of Long Beach; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Elva and Alice Hupp of Concho, Ariz., Orville and Avis Hupp of Sikeston, Ace and Kaye Hupp of Cincinnati and Buddy and Pat Hupp of Poplar Bluff; 14 grandchildren and six great-
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Fellowship Baptist Church. The Rev. Bud Schott will officiate.
Burial will follow at Bloomfield Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield.
