SIKESTON - It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon Tuesday, but don't let the sunshine fool you. It was brisk and windy to say the least, however that didn't prevent the Sikeston High School track team from hosting rival Poplar Bluff. Sikeston won the boys meet, 78-67, while dropping the girls competition, 36-96. "It felt good to get out there and get over the first meet jitters," said Coach Kevin Collier. "I know our performances will improve."
