CHAFFEE -- Ted F. Walton, 87, died at 5:45 a.m. Sept. 5, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born July 11, 1920, in Nash, to the late B. and Laura Bell Ross Walton, he was a retired foreman from Superior Electric in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Rockview, Chaffee Masonic Lodge No. 615 AM & AF, and a U.S. Army veteran.
On July 6, 1960, he married Edna Le Smith who preceded him in death on April 8, 2001.
Survivors include: two sons, Gerald Walton of Millersville and Kenneth Walton of North Pole, Alaska; one brother, Elgin "Bud" Walton of Rockview; two sisters, Gladys Dees of Kansas City and Myra Jean Mouser of Morley; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Revs. C.B. Stidham and Bobby Mouser will officiate.
Burial with full military rites will follow in the Unity Baptist Cemetery in Benton.
