'Candlelight Tours and Open House'

New Madrid businesses and community organizations worked together during the past weekend to create a special Christmas "Candlelight Tours and Open House" Friday night.

The evening included caroling, lots of hot chocolate to ward off the cold temperatures and, the lighting of the Memory Tree. Of course, there was also the opportunity to visit with Santa but not every youngster was so sure about that Jolly Old Elf and his entourage to stay long enough to leave a list.
