Gordon Mattison

DEXTER -- Granvell Gordon Mattison Jr., 54, died March 15, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born May 25, 1953, at Sikeston, to Margaret Weldon Mattison of Dexter and the late Granvell Gordon Mattison Sr., he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter and a former computer technician with U.S. Bank.

On Sept. 22, 1973, at Hooe, he married Debby Hadley who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Jason Mattison of Dexter and Shawn Mattison of Warminster, Pa.; one sister, Rene´ Lefler of Dexter; and three grandchildren, Jason Mattison Jr., Maggie Mattison and Ben Mattison.

Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Scott Weldon and Dr. Kevin Chenoweth will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Caroline Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter.
