BLOOMFIELD - Alfred Wesley "Wes" Bolin, 100, died Aug. 21, 2007, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born March 17, 1907, to the late Joseph Henderson and Iva Bell Asbell Bolin, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during World War II. Until his retirement, he worked at a hardware store in Bloomfield and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Bloomfield.
On Aug. 26, 1926, he married Nell Parmenter, who preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death were: one brother, Jesse James Bolin; two sisters, Essie Mae Robinson and Mildred Alice Kimbrell; and one niece and one nephew.

nieces, one great-nephew, six great-great-nieces and three great-great-
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, where services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday. The Revs. Susan Hoyle and Ron Dunivan will officiate.
Burial will follow in the West Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Bloomfield.
