EAST PRAIRIE -- Glenda Faye Johnson, 64, died at 9:34 a.m. Feb. 19, 2008, in the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill.
Born Sept. 30, 1943, in East Prairie, to Hazel Luella Jones Brown of East Prairie and the late Prince Albert Brown, she lived most of her life in East Prairie.
On March 18, 1978, she married Roy Lee Johnson, who preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1995.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Ronda Emery of Palmyra, Ill.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Tammy and Jim White of Franklin, Ill., Debbie Wilson of Virden, Ill., and Kathy and Rodney Rouse of Chicago; two brothers, Dale Brown of East Prairie and Gale Brown of Bertrand; two sisters, Patsy Held of St. Charles and Betty McEntire of Sikeston; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday. Jon Archie will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Rodney Rouse, Jim White, Andy White, Jimmy White, Corey Wilson and Cody Wilson.
