SIKESTON -- Frank E. Grimm, 84, died Feb. 20, 2008, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born April 22, 1923, in St. Joseph, to the late Frank Earl and Pearl Ann Carroll Grimm, he was a member of First Christian Church where he was elder emeritus. A U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Henry Meldrum American Legion Post No. 114 in Sikeston. He had worked for Sikeston Board of Municipal Utilities and later for AmerenUE, from which he retired in 1989.
On April 22, 1945, in Madison, Wis., he married Betty Chappell who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Jane and James Evans of Sikeston; one brother, Curtis Grimm of St. Joseph; and three grandchildren, Kent Householder and Clay Evans of St. Louis and Leslie Evans of Cape Girardeau.
One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church. The Rev. Mary McCord, pastor, and the Rev. Ed Pangburn, senior adult minister, will officiate.
Burial with full military rites will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
