Dorothy McCarty

DEXTER - Dorothy Catherine McCarty, 80, died March 29, 2006, at Missouri Southern Healthcare Facility in Dexter.

Born May 31, 1925, in Fredericktown, daughter of the late Charles O. and Henrietta Louise Ostoff Hale, she had lived for many years in the Dudley and Dexter areas.

In 1950, she married Wallace Max McCarty, who preceded her in death in February 1999.

Survivors include: one son, David McCarty of Dudley; three sisters, Gertrude Dillinger of Dexter, Blanche Stein of Davison, Mich. and Eula Hackathol of Grant City, Ill.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time.
