Vicki Morris

FESTUS -- Vicki Jo Higgerson Morris, 52, died Feb. 20, 2008, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Born April 29, 1955, in Sikeston, to the late Walter "Urch" and Wilma Bill Higgerson, she was an operator for AT&T for 28 years before her retirement. She later worked as a courier for Lab Corp.

She married Glen E. Morris who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, James Hawks of Festus; two daughters, Shelli Deckard and Robyn Morris of Kingman, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Morris; and one brother, Gary Higgerson.

Services were conducted at 1 p.m. today at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. The Rev. Jerry Morris officiated.

Burial followed in the Evergreen Cemetery.
