Geneva Mercer

Born Jan. 14, 1918, at Muskogee, Okla., to the late Henry Ross and Dicia Lillie Sisco Ashworth, she was a member of the Dexter Church of God and a homemaker.

On Oct. 30, 1934, at Okemah, Okla., she married Roy Mercer, who preceded her in death on June 25, 1984.

Also preceding her in death was one brother, Famous Leroy Ashworth.

Survivors include: one son, Jerry Mercer of Bloomfield; two daughters, Belva McCoy of Rockwall, Texas and Shirley Sullivan of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother, Billy James Ashworth of Bristow, Okla.; one sister, Sylvia Long of Tecumseh, Okla.; and six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-

grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of services at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Leonard Madigan will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
