Bland second at Tiger Classic

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Sikeston wrestler Gavilan Bland finished second in the 171 pound division Saturday at the prestigious Tiger Classic.

Bland was pinned in the championship match at 5:26 by Fort Zumwalt North's Matt Espey.

As a team, Sikeston finished 19th with 53 points. Northwest-House Springs won the event while Fort Zumwant North finished second.
