PORTAGEVILLE -- L.C. Tucker, 69, died July 8, 2007, at his home.
Born May 30, 1938, in Ashland, Miss., son of the late J.W. and Elizabeth Wallace Tucker, he was retired from General Motors, had served in the National Guard and was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include: one son, Donald Tucker of Atlanta, Mo.; two daughters, Lily Carol Tucker and Tabitha Tucker of Macon; one brother, Willard Jenkins of Dexter; one half brother, Jon Tucker of Bloomfield; one sister, Bernice Brasher of Portageville; three stepsisters, Zela Carroll and Kim Jenkins of Bernie and Rosalie Jenkins of Jonesboro, Ark.; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Christine Summer, in addition to his parents.
Visitation is scheduled for 6 p.m. today at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. A.R. Gentry officiating.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
