GREENVILLE - Dorothy S. Brantley, 92, died May 27, 2007, at the Westwood Hills Health Care Center in Poplar Bluff.
Born June 12, 1914, in Holcomb, to the late Sidney A. and Safaronie Spradling Campbell, she had lived in Webb, Elk, Broseley and McGee and was a member of the Shady Dell Baptist Church.
On Jan. 15, 1933, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., she married Levi Lee Brantley, who preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1995.
Six brothers, Thomas Campbell, Clifford Campbell, Norman Campbell, Carl Campbell, Kirk Campbell and Augustin Campbell; one sister, Agnes Harris; and one great-grandson also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Sidney Brantley of Bridgeton; two daughters, Mary Thompson of Greenville and Joyce Smith of Peoria, Ill.; one sister, Katheryn Kittredge of Poplar Bluff; and five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The Rev. Dean Medlin of Parma will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery in Shook.
