KELSO -- Laura Jean Glaus, 59, died at 4:57 a.m. May 27, 2007, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born March 24, 1948, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of the late Cletus Joseph and Norma M. Ressel Gosche of Chaffee, she was co-owner of L. and R. Vending in Kelso. She was also employed at Thorngate in Chaffee, Mo., for 20 years. Glaus was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso. She was past president of the Ladies Sodality and Parish Council, past president of the St. Augustine Booster Club, a past member of the St. Augustine School Board, a song leader and choir member.
On April 6, 1968, at New Hamburg, she married Ronald David Glaus, who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include: a son, David Glaus of Dexter; a daughter, Kristie Glaus of Kelso; a brother, Larry Gosche of New Hamburg; five sisters, Carol Enderle, Kathy Seyer and Linda Menz, all of Kelso, Patsy Burger of Benton and Susie Gosche of St. Louis; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso. Parish prayers will be said at 7 p.m.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
