Kevin Hammer

CHICAGO - Kevin Bradley Hammer, 39, formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died Oct. 27, 2005, at his residence.

Born March 20, 1966, in Mississippi County, he was the son of the late Billy Hammer and Betty Jean Cook Weems.

Survivors include: four sisters, Theresa J. Bradham of Paducah, Ky., Carla Everett of Jackson, Mo., Lisa Shands of Charleston, Mo., and Mandy Rhodes of Sikeston, Mo.; one brother, William Eugene Hammer of Peoria; a special friend, Irwin Reid of Chicago and his caretaker, Laura Eakins of Chicago.

Graveside services were conducted Tuesday in the Dogwood Cemetery with Keith Cook officiating.

Pallbearers were: Mark Shands, Mark Shands Jr., Dustin Everett, Justin Bradham, Jim Dercole and Marty McCaffrey.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie was in charge of arrangements.
