Jerry Smith

MORLEY -- Jerry W. Smith, 69, died Aug. 9, 2007, at Wappepello.

He was born July 13, 1938, in Whitewater, son of Billie Marie Birkman Smith of Delta and the late Willard Wayne Smith.

He married Janet Garner on Sept. 14, 1963, and she survives.

Smith retired as a ground service man at Trans World Airlines in St. Louis. He graduated from Delta High School and was a member of the Morley Baptist Church in Morley.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: two sons and a daughter-

in-law, Jerry Smith Jr. of St. Charles and Jeff and Heidi Smith of Ft. Worth, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Dominic Guillossou of Flanders, N.J.; three grandchildren, Max Guillossou of Flanders, Austin Smith of Ft. Worth and Justin Smith of Wentzville; and a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Leland Graviett of Farmington.

He was preceded in death by his dad.

Visitation will be at 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Morley Baptist Church in Morley with Rodney Davis officiating.

Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
