East Prairie girls beat Chaffee; Jackson boys defeat Dexter

EAST PRAIRIE -- Chaffee fell on the road to East Prairie, 61-48.

East Prairie was led by Cynthia Cook and Gracie Swann with 19 points apiece.

The Red Devils(4-9) were led by Amber Kirk's 19 points. Whitney Schlosser added 13.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Jackson picked up a conference win in a low-scoring game at Dexter.

The Indians (12-6) were led by Spencer Goodman's 10 points.

Dexter, which had no scorers in double figures, led 6-4 after one period but fell behind 18-8 by halftime.

Jackson hit 15 of 18 free throws in the game to seal the win.
