SIKESTON -- Rebecca Nicole Nave and Kyle Keith Davidson exchanged wedding vows March 31, 2007, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Ron Spell performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Nave of Sikeston. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sloan of Sikeston and the late Mrs. Dorothy Nave.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Davidson of Sikeston. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Davidson of Malden and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cummins Sr. of Camden, Tenn.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Matron of honor was Candace Burger, friend of the bride. Maid of honor was Jamie Davidson, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Heather Wrather and Hannah Wrather, cousins of the bride, and Melissa Keller, friend of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Madison Rettig, cousin of the bride. Serving as flower girl was MacKenzie Parker, friend of the bride.

Serving as best man was Keith Davidson, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Nathan Comer, Garrett Lambert and Gabe Keller, friends of the groom.

Trey Sloan, cousin of the bride served as usher. Guestbook attendant and servers were Tammy Sloan, aunt of the bride, and Vicki Rogers, friend of the bride. Candlelighter was Bethany Sloan, cousin of the bride. Organist was Joan Grant of Sikeston. A string/piano duet was performed by Gay French and Jon Ginder of Sikeston. Also performing a vocal solo was Dennis Bohannon of Sikeston. Marilyn Lambert served as wedding director, Jill Sloan as floral assistant and Doug Lambert as PowerPoint provider, all of Sikeston. Flowers were designed by Ginger Miller of North Main Florist.

A reception immediately followed at the Clinton Building in Sikeston, where select members of the Sikeston Senior High Orchestra performed for guests under the direction of Gay French.

Pre-wedding showers were hosted for the couple by: Mr. and Mrs. Mike Flaker, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Partridge, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Ahlvin, Mrs. Candace Burger and Wesley United Methodist Church, all of Sikeston.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Sikeston Senior High and a 2006 graduate of Cape Girardeau Career and Tech Center. She is a nurse at Southcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Sikeston Senior High and a 2005 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He is a geologist for Talon LPE in Tulsa.

Following a honeymoon at Mountain Fork River in southeast Oklahoma, the new Mr. and Mrs. Davidson are making their home in Tulsa.
