DEXTER -- Mary Jessie Lee Johnson, 85, died Aug. 29, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in Dexter.
Born Nov. 17, 1921, in Centersville, Tenn., daughter of the late Seth L. and Elvie Leaton Henson Campbell, she was a housewife and member of the Dexter Church of Christ.
In January 1997, she married Sam L. Johnson who preceded her in death in 1997.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Wilburn Carter; and one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include: three sons, Eugene Henson of Belleville, Ill., Terry Hill of Clarkton and Danny Hill of Bloomfield; one daughter, Mary Ballard of Belleville; two sisters, Elease Conley of Dexter and Aline Bradford of Belleville; and six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until time for services at noon Saturday at the Dexter Church of Christ. Travis Quertermous and Dale Grissom will officiate.
Buril will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
