LAMAR -- Richard Eugene "Dick" Feilner, 73, died at 5 p.m. Oct. 25, 2006, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
Born Jan. 5, 1933, in St. Louis, son of the late Oscar C. and Ines Amos Feilner, he retired from McDonald-Douglas Aircraft in St. Louis where he was employed as an electronic technician. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lamar, the American Legion Post in Springfield, the Knights of Columbus in Wentzville and was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War.
On April 16, 1966, he married Aline A. Horman who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one brother, Dennis Feilner of Clarksville; four sisters, Vivian McFarland of St. Petersburg, Fla., Carol Deason of Arcadia and Evelyn Martin and Phyllis Larue of Belleville, Ill.
In addition to his parents, one brother and one sister also preceded him in death.
Visitation is at 4 p.m., with parish prayers at 7 p.m., tonight at the Amick-
Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee. The Rev. James Seyer will officiate.
Burial with full military rites will follow at 1 p.m. in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
Pallbearers will be: Randy Horman, Delbert Horman, Delmer Horman, Ronnie Kiefer, Ronnie Martin and Raymond Feilner.
