VICHY -- Olive Adell Feeler, 92, died Jan. 17, 2008, at Rolla.
Born July 7, 1915, in Vichy, to the late Jeremiah and Mamie Hart Hodge, she was a homemaker. A lifelong resident of Vichy, she and her husband had owned and operated the family farm since 1933. She attended the Nazarene Church in St. Louis and later attended the Vichy Community Church for many years.
On Dec. 23, 1932, in Rolla, she married Herbert E. "Hub" Feeler, who preceded her in death on June 18, 1996.
Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Alma A. Feeler, in February 1955; one brother, Chalmer Hodge; and two sisters, Miza Berry and Minnie Atwell.
Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, T.J. and Lynn Feeler of Sikeston, Norman and Jo Ann Feeler of St. James and Warren and Joyce Feeler of Fenton; one brother, Gerald Hodge of the state of South Carolina; and six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Sunday at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James. Marti Moreland officiated.
Burial followed in the Ozark Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rolla.
Pallbearers were: Beth Varvil, Kevin Feeler, Stephanie Meurer, Lisa Ubben, Scott Feeler and Kerry Feeler.
