DEXTER --Pansy M. Forkum, 77, formerly of Zalma, died Jan. 9, 2008, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born Oct. 22, 1930, in Aurora, daughter of the late Enoch T. and Harriett K. Lena Shaw Pedigo, she was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Bloomfield, a former school bus driver for Dexter Public Schools and a farmer.

On Sept. 12, 1945, in Dudley, she married William T. Forkum who preceded her in death on March 26, 1999.

Three sisters, Nova Jean Jones, Irene Whitaker and Georgia Bell, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son, William Thomas Forkum Jr. of Grassy; three grandchildren, Jay Forkum of Bloomfield, Shannon Billingsley of Dexter and Janet Clifton of Grassy; and seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-


Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Dwight Hensley will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
