Garrett tops BassBusters

The Bootheel BassBusters held their fifth tournament of the year on Lake Barkley at the Devil's Elbow ramp on June 25.

Ty Garrett won the tournament with a six-fish limit weighing 14 lbs.-10 oz. Leon Miller was second with a six-fish limit weighing 12 lbs.-1 oz. and Mitch Allen was third with five fish weighing 11 lbs.-12 oz.

Brandon Fields took Big Bass honors with a 5 lb..- 2 oz. largemouth bass and Kenny Dement won the "Lucky Drawing."

Mitch Allen leads in the Angler-of-the-Year race with 1,108 points. Ty Garrett is second with 944 points and Mike Estes is third with 896 points.

The club travels to Lower Kentucky Dam for a tournament on the Tennessee, Cumberland and Ohio Rivers on July 16th.
