SIKESTON -- Gary Lindsey has announced the engagement of his daughter, Ashleigh Nicole, to Kenneth Ray Vaughn, son of Karen and Cliff Pettit of Sikeston.

A 2003 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School, the future bride is employed by Good Humor-Breyers in Sikeston.

The prospective bridegroom is also a 2003 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School and works for Steward Steel Inc. in Sikeston.

Plans are under way for a Sept. 22 wedding.
