MORLEY - Reda Ragains, 89, died Feb. 27, 2007, at Chaffee Nursing Care Center.
Born Jan. 3, 1918, in Maynard, Ark., to the late Alpha Elias and Gussie Norene Johnston Evans, she was a member of the Morley Church of Christ. A homemaker and a seamstress, she had been an election judge in Morley for many years. She was a beloved sister, sister-in-law and aunt.
On April 22, 1944, in Blytheville, Ark., she married Roy William Ragains, who preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2004.
One brother, Hoover Evans; and two sisters, Helen Roderick and Nema Hartman, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one sister, Ava Emerson of Morley and one brother, Sidney Evans of St. Louis
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday. Bill Bradley, minister of the Morley Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Old Morley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Mark Evans, Jerry Dye, Rick Emerson, Tim Emerson, Michael Emerson and Tyler Emerson.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Jim Caskey and Gregg Ourth.
