BELL CITY -- Edna Marie Smith Weeks, 71, died Feb. 27, 2007, at her home.
Born April 19, 1935, in St. Louis, daughter of the late Thomas Smith and Lucretia Noles Smith McBride, she was a homemaker and member of the Bell City United Methodist Church. Edna was also past secretary/treasurer of the Bell City Community Betterment Association and a former Girl Scout leader.
On Oct. 28, 1951, in Mesler, Edna married Ronnie Weeks, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Wynn Weeks of Hendersonville, Tenn.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Harriett and Joe Dan Schoolfield of Burfordville and Rhonda and Pat Niemczyk of Bell City; two brothers, Frank Smith of St. Louis and Don Smith of San Clemente, Calif.; five grandsons, Nate Wills, Zac Weeks, Kyle Weeks, Cody Weeks and Nick Niemczyk; one granddaughter, Katie Niemczyk; two stepgrandsons, Joe Schoolfield and Tyson Schoolfield; one stepgranddaughter, Melody Anderson; one great-
grandson; and four great-stepgranddaughters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, John McBride; fives sisters; and four brothers.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Andy Lambel will officiate.
Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Benton.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
