Tuesday accident

Midwest Truck Inc. Air Cushion Recovery workers place air bags under a tractor-trailer Tuesday afternoon. The truck, which was carrying a rosin, was involved in an early-morning wreck on Interstate 55 approximately one mile south of Sikeston. Traffic on both northbound and southbound I-55 was reduced to one lane following the accident. Responding agencies included the city of Miner's police and fire departments, the Sikeston Department of Public Safety and the SEMO Haz-Mat Team.
