ST. LOUIS?- Fred Finnell, base pilot supervisor for the Sikeston Air Evac Lifeteam crew, was selected as the 2007 Regional Pilot of the Year Aug. 11 during the company's regional awards banquet in St. Louis . The awards banquet honored employees from the company's St. Louis region, which includes bases in Missouri , Illinois , Indiana and Iowa.

The Regional Pilot of the Year of the Year is presented to the pilot who has exceeded job expectations by presenting a professional image, is a team player, demonstrates a desire to increase knowledge and skills, and actively pursues opportunities to promote Air Evac through community involvement.

"Fred has been a helicopter pilot with Air Evac for 16 years, and constantly demonstrates a 'can do' attitude," said Director of Operations Stuart Buckingham. "He has contributed greatly to the success of several bases over the years with Air Evac, and possesses superior piloting skills."
