Cordez Williams

NEW MADRID - Cordez Montrel Williams, one year old, died Sept. 1, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Dec. 20, 2005, in Sikeston, he was the son of Annie Betts and Delaney Williams who survive of New Madrid.

Other survivors include: three brothers, Corvon Williams, Corvel Williams and Cordell Williams of New Madrid; maternal grandparents, Lila Bledsoe of New Madrid and James Betts of St. Louis; and his paternal grandmother, Patricia (Chutis) Hicks of Lilbourn.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Delaney Minner.

Services were held at 2 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. The Rev. Leotis Aikens officiated.

Burial followed in the Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
