DEXTER -- Mary Louise Ritch, 70, died Oct. 26, 2006, at her home.
Born May 17, 1936, in Gideon, daughter of the late W.B. and Floye Atterberry Plunk, she lived most of her life in Essex and Dexter. She had worked for the International Hat Company in Dexter and St. Louis and was of the Baptist belief.
On March 17, 1968, in St. Louis County, she married Charles Ray Ritch who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Billy Gene Lusk of Parma; two daughters, Sherry Louise Leathers and Lorene Barney of Dexter; five stepsons, Doug Ritch, Dennis Ritch and Donald Ritch of Dexter, Darrell Ritch of Grayridge and David Ritch of Sikeston; three stepdaughters, Beverly McMullin and Sheila Bone of Dexter and Linda McGarity of Paducah, Ky.; one brother, Ora Teeters of Circle City; and 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Lee W. Lusk, and one brother, Billy Plunk.
A memorial gathering will be held from noon until 4 p.m. today at the home in Dexter. Bill and Judy Tanner of Sikeston will officiate.
