DURANT, Okla. -- Geneva Frances Hunter, 87, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Aug. 24, 2006, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma.
Born Sept. 12, 1918, in Charleston, Mo., daughter of the late Walter and Amanda Delk Stanley, she was a homemaker and a member of the Armstrong Baptist Church in Armstrong.
On June 14, 1941, in Charleston, she married Walter Everett Hunter who preceded her in death on April 6, 1981.
One brother and one sister also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons, Andrew Freeman of Cartwright, Okla., and Everett Hunter of Rosemont, Ore.; two daughters, Betty Holifield of Durant and Frances Krause of Desplains, Ill.; and nine grandchildren, 12 great-
grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Stanley Griffin, pastor of Westover Baptist Church of Jackson, Tenn., will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
