SIKESTON -- Claude Deason, 92, died March 28, 2007, at his home.
Born Nov. 27, 1914, in Rector, Ark., son of the late Walter D. and Lela Riggs Deason, he was a member of the Shady Acres Church of Christ and had been a farmer before retiring.
On Aug. 14, 1936, he married Margurite Owens who preceded him in death.
In addition to his parents and wife, three brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: one son, Robert D. Deason of McMinnville, Tenn.; three daughters, Shirley Martin of Sikeston, Barbara Arsta of Franklin, Tenn., and Janice Falkner of Tampa, Fla.; one brother, Walter D. Deason Jr. of Blodgett; one sister, Doris Ingram of Manila, Ark.; and 16 grandchildren, 43 great-
grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday with Pat Hogan and Johnny Hester, ministers of Shady Acres Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery at Blodgett.
