MOREHOUSE - Linda Fay McClain, 60, died Jan. 10, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born July 31, 1947, in Terre Haute, Ind., daughter of Eula Fay Baty Stroud Brothers of Sikeston and the late Harold E. Stroud Sr., she graduated from Morehouse High School in 1965. She was a member of Rauch Spence Memorial Methodist Church in Morehouse and Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston.
On Dec. 6, 1968, she married Hunter McClain, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Scott McClain of Morehouse; one daughter, Paula Stinnett of Sikeston; two brothers, Harold "Gene" Stroud Jr. of Sikeston and Phillip "Butch" Stroud of Ladylake, Fla.; two grandchildren, Hannah Stinnett and Zac Stinnett of Sikeston; and her stepfather, L.V. "Red" Brothers of Sikeston.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until time of memorial services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rauch Spence Memorial Methodist Church in Morehouse. The Rev. Norman Ogles will officiate.
Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
