Kelly cross country team has two place at Hancock meet

ST. LOUIS -- The Kelly cross country team had two medalists in the Hancock Invitational on Monday after having the meet rescheduled from its original date on Saturday due to lightning.

Cody Kern ran 19:19 and placed 20th while Tara Johnson ran 23:15 and placed ninth in the girls division. The boys team placed seventh with 200 points against the nine-team field that included several larger schools.

Other Kelly competitors were: Dalton Miller (21:57), Mike Warren (20:47), Patrick Moore (28:59), Sam Nelson (22:34), Brett Harper (22:12) and Omar Campos (21:59.
