Your view: Riding success

The WarChild Riding Group, motorcycle enthusiasts out of Chaffee held their Rebel Yell Rally on Paul Friga's farm outside of Oran on June 1 & 2. The event offered camping, food and product venders, motorcycle games and events, and live music by Slight Return on both nights.

The weather held up and blessed us with comfortable evenings. The Rally was well attended and a good time was had by all.

Due to our success, the WarChild Riding Group will be able to donate $6,000.00 to St. Jude's Children Hospital in Memphis. A check presentation ceremony is being scheduled for the near future.

We have many to thank for making it all come together. Paul and David Friga put in many hours to help prepare the property for us. Donation of time and materials from Halter Gas, Bluff City Beer, SEMO Stone, Fabick CAT, Dustin Fluegge Trucking, Rick Bragg Productions, Boy Scouts of Grassy, Nip Kelly Fence and Manac Trailers USA. Dozens of members and friends helped us stay organized and orderly. Thank you everyone.
