SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Corette Prayor Fields, 93, a former resident of Wyatt, Mo., and Charleston, Mo., died at 6:55 p.m. Jan. 8, 2008, at the home of her daughter in Scottsdale.
Born May 1, 1914, in Crosno, to the late William E. and Irene Waltrip Prayor, she had lived most of her life in Wyatt and had been employed for 34 years at Brown Shoe Company before retiring. She was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church, where she served as Hospitality Chairperson and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
She married Walter F. Fields who preceded her in death.
Three brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Dorla and Jerry Pearman of Scottsdale; two grandsons, Andrew Pearman of Tucson and Martin Pearman of Phoenix; and two great-grandsons, Matthew Pearman of Special Security Forces, ASAF and Drew Pearman of Tucson.
Visitation is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Tom Bridges of Bertrand, Mo., will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
