Bill Harris

SIKESTON - Bill R. Harris, 60, died Aug. 18, 2007, at his home in Sikeston.

Born Feb. 6, 1947, in Sikeston, son of Dorothy Abbott Cobb, he attended the Gray Ridge Baptist Church and worked for Tyson Foods before his retirement.

On Dec. 30, 1977, he married Alma Coatney, who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include one son and daughter-in-

law, Timothy and Amber Harris of Bloomfield and several nieces.

One brother and three sisters preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Robert Lafferty, pastor of Gray Ridge Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be: Timothy Harris, Wesley Westmoreland, Leonard Byrd, Billy Kingery, Tom Coatney and Dustin Nall.
