EAST PRAIRIE -- Tonya True and Edmond Dewey Jernigan are the parents of their fourth child, second son, born at 3:51 a.m. July 16, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Logan Maddox Jernigan weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Brenda Cornwell and the late Kenneth Farrell.

Paternal grandparents are Pamela Jernigan and the late Alva Jernigan.

SIKESTON -- Mackenzie and Fred Scherer III are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 10:52 a.m. July 17, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Fred Lincoln "Linc" Scherer IV weighed 8 pounds and was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are John and Linda Price of Advance.

Paternal grandparents are Fred and Christy Scherer of Bell City.
