Lenn Wornica

ST. LOUIS - Lenn Wornica, 90, died May 25, 2006.

Born Jan. 13, 1916, son of the late J.P. and Mary Wornica, he graduated from Vanduser High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during World War II, and a member of the VFW Post 2593 and the CCC's.

He was united in marriage to Virginia Carlton, who survives.

Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Margaret Wornica of Niceville, Fla. and Gary and Bettina Wornica of Mexico; one daughter and son-in-law, Valinda and John Hood of Fenton; two sisters, Ruth Triplett and Martha Rea Burchfield of Sikeston; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and one granddaughter.

Services were held Tuesday in St. Louis.
