Richie Sterling Jr.

MOREHOUSE -- Richard "Richie" L. Sterling Jr., 37, passed away March 27, 2007, in Sikeston.

Born June 4, 1969, in Sikeston, the son of Rick Sterling and Sharon Parr Rowell, he was a resident of Morehouse.

Surviving are: one daughter, Lindsey Nicole Sterling of Sikeston; one son, Richard Lee Sterling III of Sikeston; his father and stepmother, Rick and Claire Sterling of Sikeston; his mother, Sharon Rowell of Morehouse; one brother, Ashley Doss Sterling of Sikeston; one sister and brother-in-law, Michelle Sterling and Joe Sadler of Morehouse; his grandmother, Naomi Parr of the home in Morehouse; and his stepfathers, Russell Laminack and Tim Rowell. Other relatives and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with Bro. Jeff Wells of Marble Hill officiating.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery in East Prairie.
