MARSTON - Thomas F. Williams, 69, died March 29, 2007, at his home in Marston.
Born Nov. 22, 1937, in Kaiser, Ark., son of the late Thomas Z. and Edith Brown Williams, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a self-employed business owner. He was a member of the Lilbourn VFW Post 7183, where he was past commander and presently serving as Quartermaster and a member of the American Legion Post 595 in New Madrid.
In September 1961, he married Mary Phillips; she survives of Blodgett.
On Feb. 10, 1973, he married Rose Mary Finney, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Anne Williams of Nashville, Tenn. and Steven and Andrea Williams of Orland Park, Ill.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Mark Smith of Lexington, S.C. and Cindy and Jay Walker of Marston; four sisters, Virginia Brooks of Edgar Springs, Pat Lawrence of Lilbourn, Kathy Simmons of New Madrid and Carol Kimball of Sikeston; eight grandchildren, Ragen (Chris) Kolwyck and Brooklyn Smith of Lexington, David and Nicholas Walker of Marston, Hiatt Williams, Sophia Williams and Jason Williams of Nashville, and Jackson Williams of Orland Park; a special nephew, Billy Scallion of Kimmswick; and a special niece, Susan Wilkerson of Lilbourn.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, C.H. Williams and Ronnie Williams; and one sister, Joyce Ann Williams.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Revs. Bill Reid and Frank Townsend will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery in Lilbourn with full military honors provided by the American Legion Post 595.
Pallbearers will be: Bill Scallion, Paul Fout, Harry King, Jimmy King, Richard King and Dino Wilkerson.
