SIKESTON - Richard L. Myrick, 73, died Oct. 27, 2006, at Sikeston Healthcare near Sikeston.
Born Jan. 14, 1933, at Parma, son of the late Lawrence A. and Lillian Lewis Myrick, he served in the U.S. Army from March 25, 1953, until June 22, 1955, and was a former technician for the heating and cooling industry. A member of the Presbyterian Church at Port St. Lucie, Fla., he had lived in Michigan and Florida for most of his life and in Dexter and Sikeston for the past three years.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles L. Myrick.
Survivors include: one daughter, Patty Dial of St. Louis; three sons, Michael Myrick of Washington, Brian Myrick of Florida and Greg Myrick of Illinois; one sister, Eloise Hart of Dexter; and several grandchildren and great-
Graveside services were conducted at 9 a.m. today at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with the Rev. Dwight Hensley officiating.
The Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter was in charge of arrangements.
