Jeanne Pepper, 85, died June 15, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 17, 1921, in Flat River, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Eugene and Sue DeGrant Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Dexter and Order of Eastern Star member Chapter 385 in Bloomfield.
On Nov. 2, 1941, in Bloomfield, she married James "Jim" Pepper, who preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 2003.
Survivors include: two sons, James L. Pepper II of Malvern, Ark., and Richard T. Pepper of Bloomfield; one brother, Jim Jones of Dexter; one sister, June Mothersbaugh of Dexter; and four grandchildren and seven great-
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Vaughn Wright will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
