CHARLESTON - Virginia Crider, 88, died June 14, 2007, at Charleston Manor.
Born Sept. 14, 1918, in Philadelphia, Miss., to the late Stennis and Mary Kirkland Clemons. A a resident of Missouri for over 50 years, she was a member of Sanders Chapel AME Church where she served as an usher, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was married to Wallace Crider, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four brothers, Joe Mitchell Brown of Flint, Mich., Stennis Clemons II of Saginaw, Mich., Phillip Clemons of Charleston and John Clemons of Cape Girardeau; and four sisters, Etta Stockton and Ira Gordon of Charleston, Yvonnie Mack of Jefferson City and Pauline Lewis of Tampa Bay, Fla.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. today at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Charleston.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, near Charleston.
