Sharon Hanks

Born Dec. 27, 1947, at St. Louis, to the late William Ray and Nelda Maxine Shaffer Hanks, she retired from Cordova Rehab in Cordova, Tenn., where she worked as a registered nurse.

Survivors include: one son, Rodney Davis of Oran; one daughter, Nancy Trentham of Cordova; two brothers, Darrel Hanks of Oran and James "Jimmy" Hanks of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Sara Guzman, Duranda Cochran and Marsha Ward of Oran and Elizabeth Whaley of Marion, Ark.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry W. Pirtle Jr.

Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. The Rev. Ed Carter will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins.
