BLOOMFIELD -- Charley Sylvester Robinett, 90, died Jan. 25, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield.
Born March 13, 1916, in Couch, son of the late Arthur L. and Allie May Jobe Robinett, since 1949 he had lived in Bloomfield where he was a retired farmer and a member of the Link Full Gospel Church.
On Dec. 23, 1939, in Sikeston, he married Blanche Lorene Matlock who preceded him in death on Feb. 10, 1997.
Five brothers, three sisters and one great-grandson, Ethan Allen Robinett, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Charles Robinett and Denny Robinett of Bloomfield and Bill Robinett of Advance; two daughters, Phyllis Vandeven and Rita Scherer of Bloomfield; two brothers, Don Robinett of Dexter and Wayne Robinett of Jackson; one sister, Leatha Woodruff of Bloomfield; and 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Rick Williams of Malden will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
