RISCO -- Oran B. Albritton, 88, died Jan. 25, 2007, at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
Born Aug. 21, 1918, in Manila, Ark., son of the late Pete and Sarah Gillian Albritton, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW in Lilbourn and the DAV. He retired from the Risco school system where he worked as a custodian and bus driver and was of the General Baptist belief.
On Dec. 24, 1940, at Risco, he married Mary Ethel Black who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Ronnie Albritton of Risco; two daughters and one son-in-law, Diana and Hal Kinsey and Deanna Albritton of St. Charles; and nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Opie Ratliff and Augusta Weekly.
Visitation is scheduled for 6 p.m. today at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden where services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
